Black tea

Black tea and flavoured black teas

Black teas have all undergone oxidisation which makes them generally stronger in flavour than Oolong, Green or White teas. The process ensures that Black teas retain their rich flavours for a number of years and you can be assured of their long lasting quality.

Green tea

Rooibos/ Red bush

Black tea

Green tea and flavoured green tea

Green tea has been used in Chinese and Indian medicine for generations. Typically a Green tea hasn't undergone the same withering and oxidisation process as an Oolong or Black tea which generally gives it a lighter and slightly sweeter taste.

Rooibos, Red Bush (or even Rooibosch, pronounced ROY-bos from old Dutch) is a delicious caffeine free tea, actually made not from the usual tea plant. In it's pure form it has a deliciously strong sweet and woody flavour and is enjoyed by many as a caffeine free infusion.

White tea

Oolong & Semi fermented

Rooibos/ Red bush

White tea and flavoured white tea

White teas are best described as being light and delicate compared to Green or Black teas. The teas get their name from the colour of the buds and leaves which are picked early before they mature. Being allowed to then dry in the Sun White teas have very minimal processing making them a natural and light infusion.
